About Our Reserve
The Blue Oak Ranch Reserve (BORR) is part of the world’s largest network of university-run ecological reserves, established in 1965 to promote understanding and stewardship of Earth’s natural systems. Located east of San Jose, BORR spans five square miles of oak woodlands and grasslands.
